Is ABDM-enabled software mandatory for my hospital?
PM-JAY empanelled hospitals need an ABDM-enabled HMIS, and Solomo360 is compliant — so running it covers that requirement. Beyond that group, ABDM is not compulsory for every private practice today, but adoption is growing quickly and patients increasingly expect their records to be linked to their ABHA.

What is an ABHA number?
An ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) is a free national health ID that any Indian resident can create. It lets a patient link health records from different hospitals, clinics and labs in one place and share them with a provider when they choose to.
Does ABDM mean my patient data is shared automatically?
No. ABDM is built on explicit patient consent. Records are only shared when the patient approves a specific request, and those approvals are recorded and auditable. Your practice remains in control of its own data.
